去英国需要多少流量？

省流量小技巧：
- 伦敦地铁有WiFi——大多数站点注册一次即可使用，大文件用WiFi下载。大部分线路现在也有手机信号了。
- 火车上很费流量。 长途火车（伦敦到爱丁堡等）上，火车WiFi出了名的慢且不稳定，你会更多依赖手机流量。火车日多备点流量。
- 乡村地区下载离线地图。 去苏格兰高地或湖区徒步，信号可能消失。提前准备好离线地图。
- 非接触支付不需要流量。 你的银行卡刷卡（contactless）本身不需要数据。但Apple Pay/Google Pay可能需要偶尔联网验证。
英国特殊场景
足球比赛和体育场
如果你去看英超比赛、足总杯决赛或温布利的演唱会：体育场的手机网络会被挤爆。 八万人同时发自拍，你的eSIM速度会断崖式下降。提前下载好门票和地图。用短信或iMessage（可以回退到SMS）而不是纯靠流量的App。
音乐节（Glastonbury、Reading等）
音乐节的手机信号一向糟糕。临时基站帮不了10万+人同时上网的场景。假设你在音乐节上基本没有流量——提前下载好节目单、营地地图、朋友的电话号码。再多的流量在Glastonbury也救不了你。
英国 + 爱尔兰
很多人英国和爱尔兰一起玩。注意： 爱尔兰在欧盟，英国不在。想要两地都有网络：
- 买英国套餐覆盖英格兰/苏格兰/威尔士
- 再买EU/爱尔兰套餐覆盖爱尔兰共和国
- 或者找一个明确包含UK和爱尔兰的区域套餐
- 北爱尔兰属于英国，英国套餐覆盖
英国 + 欧洲
如果你的行程是伦敦-巴黎-阿姆斯特丹这种：
- 方案A： 买英国eSIM + 欧盟eSIM，过境切换。
- 方案B： 买包含英国的欧洲区域套餐（更贵但更简单）。仔细看国家列表。
- 方案C： 英国期间用英国eSIM，坐欧洲之星到巴黎后装欧盟eSIM。
英国eSIM安装步骤
- 确认手机支持eSIM。 iPhone XR以后、2020年后的安卓旗舰基本都支持。查看兼容性检测工具
- 确认套餐包含英国。 确保国家列表里有”United Kingdom”——不只是”Europe”。这是最常见的错误！
- 购买套餐。 在品牌App或官网购买，会收到QR码。
- 安装eSIM。 设置 > 蜂窝网络 > 添加eSIM > 扫描QR码。
- 标记线路。 命名为”UK旅行”，方便切换。
- 选对激活时机。 出发前安装，落地后激活。确认是安装计时还是使用计时。
- 打开数据漫游。 设置 > 蜂窝网络 > 你的eSIM线路 > 打开”数据漫游”。对，英国eSIM也需要打开这个。这仍然是”eSIM用不了”的第一大原因！
常见问题
欧盟eSIM在英国能用吗？
几乎肯定不能。 脱欧后（2021年起），英国不再参与欧盟漫游协议。大多数”欧洲”eSIM套餐不包含英国。购买前一定查看具体国家列表。有些品牌提供包含英国的”扩展欧洲”套餐，但价格更高。拿不准就买英国专属套餐。
英国哪个运营商最好？
EE 是英国最大、覆盖最广的网络，乡村信号最有保障。Three 城市覆盖好、有5G，但苏格兰和威尔士乡村信号弱于EE。Vodafone 和 O2 中规中矩。如果只在伦敦玩，选哪个都行。
伦敦地铁里eSIM有信号吗？
大部分线路有。 地铁已经逐步升级4G覆盖，主要线路在隧道里也有信号。Elizabeth线全程覆盖。部分较深的老旧线路可能还有盲区。大多数车站也有Virgin Media的WiFi。
刷Oyster卡/非接触支付需要流量吗？
不直接需要。 实体银行卡的非接触支付不依赖数据连接。但如果你用Apple Pay或Google Pay，手机可能需要偶尔联网验证。实际使用中，移动支付在没有持续流量时通常也能正常工作，但有数据在手更保险。
英国eSIM在苏格兰和威尔士能用吗？
能。 英国eSIM覆盖英格兰、苏格兰、威尔士和北爱尔兰——它们都是”United Kingdom”的一部分。但苏格兰高地和威尔士山谷的乡村覆盖明显弱于英格兰城市。如果你要徒步西高地步道或自驾Snowdonia，要有信号不稳定的心理准备。
英国火车上信号怎么样？
看线路。 主要干线（伦敦到爱丁堡、伦敦到曼彻斯特）信号总体不错，隧道和乡村路段会掉速。跨地区和支线火车不太稳定。长途火车大多有WiFi，但速度慢、不可靠。建议预留用自己eSIM流量在火车上上网的份额，别指望车载WiFi。
英国eSIM能打电话吗？
大多数旅行eSIM是纯数据卡，不带英国号码。用WhatsApp、FaceTime、微信语音通话就好。如果需要英国号码（订房确认、酒店回电等），考虑Three旅游eSIM或giffgaff，可能包含通话分钟数。或者出发前申请一个Google Voice或Skype号码。
