常见问题
eSIM在西马和东马都能用吗？
能，但体验差别很大。 你的eSIM在整个马来西亚连的是同一个运营商网络，但东马（婆罗洲）的基础设施覆盖远不如西马。出了亚庇和古晋这样的城市，信号就开始看运气了。eSIM本身没问题——是当地网络基建的差距。
马来西亚到处都能用Grab吗？
城市里可以。 吉隆坡、槟城、兰卡威、马六甲、亚庇、古晋都有Grab。小城镇和乡下地方Grab很少。停泊岛和刁曼岛基本没有Grab——靠当地船和出租车。
我的马来西亚eSIM能去新加坡/泰国用吗？
不能，除非你买的是区域套餐。 马来西亚单国eSIM过了边境就没数据了。如果要去新加坡（新山一日游很常见）或泰国，买东南亚区域套餐或者再装一张对应国家的eSIM。
槟城的小贩中心有信号吗？
有，基本都有。 槟城有名的小贩中心（Gurney Drive、新关仔角、木蔻街）都在城市区域，信号全覆盖。就算是比较偏的浮罗山背（Balik Pulau）也有不错的信号。你可以放心用Google Maps在美食摊位之间穿梭。
去婆罗洲没信号安全吗？
完全安全。 每年成千上万的游客在没有手机信号的情况下穿越婆罗洲热带雨林。旅行社和护林员经验丰富，营地/山庄的工作人员熟悉地形。确保有人知道你的行程，带好离线导航，把这当成一次与自然亲近的机会。猩猩也不刷手机的。
到马来西亚之前还是之后买eSIM？
之前买。 在家连着WiFi的时候安装eSIM，到KLIA落地后激活。大多数品牌（Airalo、Saily、Nomad）从首次使用数据才开始计时，不是安装就计时，所以提前装没有损失。落地有网就能马上Grab叫车去酒店。
马来西亚有5G吗？
马来西亚的5G通过Digital Nasional Berhad（DNB）单一批发网络推进，覆盖集中在吉隆坡、布城和赛城。大多数eSIM接入4G LTE（20-80Mbps），旅行完全够用。吉隆坡市中心部分区域可能体验到5G速度，但不应该成为你选eSIM的决定因素。
马来西亚eSIM和本地SIM卡比哪个划算？
